Data Platform Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Platform Management Specialist to join our team at Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited. As a key member of our data platform management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Activities: You will be responsible for handling project activities including requirement collection, design, analysis, coordination with users, vendors, and application teams, UAT, and project rollout.
- Data Platform Management: You will handle management, operational, and administrative work in data platform areas, including procedural review and renewal, data authorization and maintenance, coordination with internal/external parties, providing solutions, issue resolution, and recommendations.
- Quality Assurance: You will ensure data and work quality of project deliverables in business as usual (BAU) and projects.
- Documentation: You will prepare documents and materials for projects, briefings, training, etc. for data platforms.
- Education: A degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant disciplines.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of working experience in data analysis, preferably in banking or financial institutions.
- IT Project Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in IT projects, including requirement collection, design, implementation, testing, and rollout.
- Data Analysis Tools: Minimum 2 years of experience in writing SQL and using data analysis tools, such as Tableau, Hyperion, Oracle Analytics, etc.
- Languages: Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- Candidate Profile: Desirable to have experience in external vendor coordination in application development. Skills in writing VBA or Python are also desirable. Candidates with less experience may be considered for Assistant/Data Analyst roles.
