Job Summary:

Vita Green Health Product Company Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Development Manager to lead our new product development efforts. This role will involve overseeing four sub-teams, ensuring efficient workflows, and driving project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Oversee the new product development timeline and ensure that all workflows are executed efficiently to meet project deadlines.
  • Internal Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for internal communication, coordinating effectively with various departments to facilitate seamless collaboration.
  • OEM Management: Manage communication with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and oversee on-site work to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Decision-Making: Make informed decisions throughout the project lifecycle, balancing innovation with feasibility and market needs.
  • Information Support: Assist in gathering and providing critical information regarding product inquiries from other departments, ensuring they have the resources they need.
  • Research Collaboration: Work closely with the research team to integrate scientific insights into product development, ensuring products are grounded in rigorous research.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master / PhD in Chinese Medicine, Biochemistry, Biologicals Science or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in health product/food product development, with solid team management experience.
  • Work Environment: Work in a laboratory-based R&D environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Decision-Making Ability: Ability to make strategic decisions under pressure.
  • Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Collaboration: A collaborative mindset with a focus on cross-departmental integration.
  • Language Skills: Good communication and negotiation skills. Fluent in Cantonese & English.
