About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Lecturer/Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer in Bioinformatics and Health Technology at Hong Kong University.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and teach curricula in bioinformatics, digital health, AI in medicine, and health technology.
  • Conduct research in bioinformatics and health technology to support teaching and academic development.
  • Design and implement innovative pedagogical approaches to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements:
  • A Ph.D. degree in bioinformatics, artificial intelligence, computer science, health informatics, biomedical engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent passion for teaching and learning in bioinformatics, digital health, AI in medicine, and health technology.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Teaching experience: at least 10 years for Senior Lecturer, 3 years for Lecturer, and less for Assistant Lecturer.
