Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying technology development opportunities to solve major problems in the healthcare sector, developing innovative technology solutions with professors, collaborators, and industry partners, and designing products and services that meet user needs with technological breakthroughs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • PhD/M. Phil/M. Eng/M. Sc degree in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Computer Science, Engineering Physics, or related disciplines
  • Mature, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure
  • Highly proficient and fluent in English in both writing and verbal communications
  • Relevant industry R&D experience in the health tech/biomedical engineering sector is a MUST: 2+ years of experience after obtaining PhD degree; or 4+ years of experience after obtaining master degree
  • 1+ year of experience after obtaining PhD degree; or 2+ years of experience after obtaining master degree
  • Relevant industry expertise in specialized areas such as Artificial Intelligence for Cellular Imaging, Biomaterials or Bioelectronics for Electronic Skin, Brain-Computer Interface (BCI), Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) for Pharmaceuticals, FDA-Related Regulatory Affairs, Interventional Cardiology or Interventional Radiology, Ophthalmology Medical Devices, Organoids, Orthopedic Implants, Point-of-Care Testing (POCT) Devices for Pathogens or Chronic Diseases
