IT Business Analyst Lead

Your Role

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications, ensuring seamless alignment between business objectives and technical capabilities.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization, driving business value through data-driven insights.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories, to facilitate effective communication and project execution.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure that technical solutions meet business requirements, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure a clear understanding of project goals and deliverables, promoting a shared vision and successful project outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough user acceptance testing to validate that implemented solutions meet business needs, ensuring high-quality deliverables and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide support and training to end-users on new systems or enhancements, empowering them to maximize the value of technology investments.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and optimal system uptime.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior analysts, fostering their growth and development, and contributing to a culture of knowledge sharing and expertise.

To Succeed in this Role

  • Hold a university degree or above, preferably in Business, IT, Operations Management, or related disciplines, demonstrating a strong foundation in business acumen and technical expertise.
  • Minimum 8 years of BA experience within this field, with a proven track record of defining and documenting complex business requirements and functional specifications, driving business value through technical solutions.
  • Develop a strong understanding of technology processes, platforms, and technologies, staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
  • Excel in problem-solving, communication, and teamwork capabilities, with exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills to drive business outcomes.
  • Be well-versed in written and verbal English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin), facilitating effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proactively work independently and under pressure, with a strong ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Develop strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills to drive business outcomes and build strong relationships.
  • Gain experience working within an agile development environment, embracing iterative and collaborative approaches to drive business value and innovation.
