Chief Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Professional to join our team at City University of Hong Kong. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Zero Trusted Network Access (ZTNA) project deployment, coordinating with System Integrator (SI) and vendor to fine-tune the system, and supporting Network Firewall administration and operations.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in information security and project management, with excellent analytical skills and a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Management or related disciplines is required, with at least 5 years of post-qualification working experience.

• Manage the ZTNA project deployment and coordinate with SI and vendor to meet CityUHK's requirements;
• Support Network Firewall administration and operations, encompassing traffic monitoring, rule management and configuration, performance monitoring and firmware updates;
• Review Work Requests (WRs) and translate them into a configuration change to perform network security-related Change Requests (CRs);
• Support the academic departments' network security tightening project;
• Perform regular security reviews on firewall policies and perform security tightening/housekeeping;
• Support building intelligence in SIEM to identify threats from reports provided by SOC and take appropriate actions to close the loop;
• Assist in information security investigation and carry out forensic analysis;

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Management or related disciplines, with at least 5 years post-qualification working experience;
• Knowledge of Web Applications, Windows and Linux operating systems, and networks;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills and a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
• Good analytical skills with a strong sense of responsibility;
• Hands-on experience with information security and project management;
• Professional certifications such as CISSP and CEH would be an advantage;
