About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a key role in maintaining and optimizing our technical infrastructure. As a Senior System Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Linux systems, providing expert advice and consultancy services to project teams, and collaborating with other departments to drive business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Perform system setup, backup, software installation, patch upgrade, and monitoring.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting and performance tuning.
  • Manage capacity monitoring on systems and applications.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior administrators.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Redhat Linux 7/8 system administration.
  • Solid knowledge of technical infrastructure environments and system architecture design.
  • Hands-on experience with Redhat KVM, GFS, Cluster suite, and middleware products such as Apache, Tomcat, WebSphere, and MQSeries.
  • Proficiency in shell scripting.
  • Experience with distributed system design and administration is an asset.
  • Good communication skills, including spoken and written Chinese and English, with knowledge of Mandarin an advantage.
