About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT organization, you will play a critical role in maintaining first-in-class systems for critical services like trading, market data and clearing in cash and derivative markets.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and Support Critical Systems: Implement and support infrastructure solutions in critical IBM System z environments that demand stability, high throughput and controlled CPU resources.
- Collaborate with Other Teams: Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of mainframe platform with other systems.
- Develop Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation for IT infrastructure processes and procedures.
- Database Administration: Perform database administration, support services, management of z/OS, DB2, CICS, MQ, 3rd party utilities on System z, as well as, VTL infrastructure, and HACP and Connect Direct on Windows platform.
- System Configuration and Management: Be responsible for system configuration, installation, customization, security setup, system management functions, performance reporting, performance tuning, stress test, capacity planning, patching and upgrade, backup and recovery.
- Support to Application Teams: Provide support and implementation work to application teams including database administration and performance analysis.
- Compliance and Security: Implement compliance standards and perform regular system compliance review; proactively assess exposure areas and take steps to reduce vulnerabilities.
- Problem Resolution: Anticipate, evaluate, and resolve complex system problems to minimize downtime and system performance degradation.
- Vendor Management: Manage vendor to ensure the highest quality delivery and implementation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information System or related disciplines.
- At least 7 years of working experience on z/OS, DB2, CICS and MQ.
- Experience on VTL infrastructure, CA1, CA7, Endevor is definite advantage.
- Experience on supporting mission critical, high availability, high performance platform on System z.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, proactive attitude, good interpersonal and presentation skill.
