Research Assistant Job Description

We invite applications for the position of Research Assistant in the Department of Computer Science to work on the research project 'Design and Optimization of Multi-Job Hierarchical Federated Learning Framework for Edge Intelligence', funded by the School Research Grants.

The appointee will assist the project leader in conducting research work in the field of federated learning and wireless communication optimization, including literature review, model development, programming, and simulations.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Possess a relevant academic qualification, preferably at the master's level or above;
  • Demonstrate expertise in Python programming and experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch;
  • Display a strong foundation in machine learning and mathematical modeling skills;
  • Be able to work independently and effectively.
