Job Description

  • To assist on the production of monthly project reports: Ensure timely delivery of high-quality reports that provide accurate insights into project progress.
  • Maintain, develop & communicate integrated bid/project plans in designated planning tools: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with company procedures and milestones.
  • Monitor integrated sets of bid/project schedules, costs, and resources: Analyze and manage project schedules, costs, and resources to ensure optimal allocation and efficient use of resources.
  • Undertake and coordinate formal updates of bid/project schedules, interdependencies, resource allocations, budgets, and financial status: Coordinate and update project schedules, resources, and financials to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Analyze resource profiles resulting from monthly schedule update processes and make recommendations: Identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations to reconcile resource loading anomalies.
  • Provide guidance to Project Management Office team members on projects involving Planners and Project Support staff: Offer expertise and support to team members to ensure successful project execution.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Highest academic qualification: Higher Diploma in Engineering or related field: Possess relevant educational background in engineering or a related field.
  • Industrial project experience (railway projects a plus): Demonstrate experience working on industrial projects, preferably in the railway sector.
  • Relevant experience or knowledge in Primavera P6/MS Project/MS Office/SAP: Showcase proficiency in relevant planning software tools and technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning & scheduling practices, calculation methods, standards, and procedures: Possess in-depth understanding of project planning principles and methodologies.
  • Proactive, capacity to coach and support project teams, establish processes: Demonstrate ability to lead, coach, and support project teams in achieving goals and objectives.
  • Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English: Possess excellent communication skills in both languages.
