We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee to join our team in Hong Kong. As a Trainee in Counterparty Credit Risk, you will play a key role in supporting our analysts in performing credit risk assessments and providing due diligence meeting minutes and credit memos.
Key Responsibilities:- Support analysts in credit risk assessments, including evaluating stated strategies, investment processes, risk controls, and fund particulars.
- Prepare due diligence meeting minutes and well-written credit memos.
- Assist analysts in daily monitoring of exposure and addressing overshoots across all applicable CCR metrics.
- Support the team in producing daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of exposure and overshoots associated risk and analysis.
- Propose ratings using our approved rating models on certain counterparties.
- Participate in different initiatives run by the team.
- Stay connected with industry trends and macro issues impacting the portfolio.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or other business-related discipline.
- Basic knowledge of counterparty credit risk, OTC & Listed derivatives, and/or securities financing transactions.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Attention to details; unaffected under high pressure.
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and meet deadlines.
This is a fixed-term 12-month Trainee contract with Societe Generale. You will form part of the team on a full-time basis. In order to apply for the Trainee position, please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full-time for the duration of the Trainee contract.
