Electronics Trading Solutions Specialist

Bloomberg's Electronic Trading Solutions (ETS) is a comprehensive platform that unites all of our cross-asset electronic trading platforms into one business. We deliver trading solutions and analytics to our buy-side and sell-side clients, making us an integral part of the Bloomberg network.
Our solutions allow clients to seamlessly stage, monitor, trade, clear, allocate, and perform Trade Cost Analysis (TCA) through one solution. In addition to capturing workflow, securing terminals, and growing our franchise market share, we offer many revenue-generating solutions that integrate with Bloomberg and non-Bloomberg Order Management Systems (OMS) solutions across the financial market.
Role Overview
As an ETS Tradebook Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing our Electronic Trading franchise across our Futures, Options, and Equities solutions. This primarily involves building deep, value-focused relationships with clients and engaging them on ways they can grow and advance their business by partnering with Bloomberg for their trading, automation, and analysis needs.
We expect all Account Managers to own a book of clients and develop a deep understanding of their business workflows and Electronic Trading needs to increase revenue and onboard new users to our trading platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain excellent relationships and grow our client base by building a pipeline of clients through prospecting, relationship management, and referrals.
- Build an in-depth understanding around our client workflow to directly impact sales and/or anticipate our client's future needs.
- Use your strong communication, presentation skills, and technical skills to provide support to clients with their trading inquiries and build strong relationships, including with senior-level stakeholders.
- Understand the current regulatory landscape and its impact on our clients to offer electronic trading solutions in line with their requirements.
- Hold meetings with clients and prospects to present unique Bloomberg solutions.
- Use your project management skills to coordinate product initiatives regionally, including taking on product advocacy and driving product improvement by providing feedback to Bloomberg's business managers and product development teams on user demand and evolving market practices.
- Employ best use of our flat corporate structure to network across various departments, calling on specific expertise, and promote collaboration to deliver solutions to our clients.
Requirements
- 5+ years of client-facing experience in financial services or a financial markets technology company.
- Experience providing best-in-class customer support on Electronic Trading Technology solutions to financial institutions.
- Industry experience as a market participant, technology vendor, or client services specialist for futures & options products.
- Established track record of both relationship management and client support.
- Knowledge of Electronic Trading, Execution Management Systems, and Trading Connectivity.
- Knowledge of exchange protocols and industry standards, with respect to global futures and options trading.
- Strong understanding of the impact of regulation, market structure, and compliance on electronic trading.
- Familiarity with buy-side and sell-side workflows.
- Project Management skills.
- A resourceful, problem-solving attitude.
- Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization.
- Strong presentation and fluent communication skills in English.
