Sports Physiotherapist Position
The Hong Kong Sports Institute Ltd is seeking a qualified Sports Physiotherapist to join our team. As a key member of our sports medicine department, you will be responsible for providing physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation services for scholarship athletes, including Para athletes.
Main Responsibilities
- To provide on-field support to athletes during competitions;
- Liaise with coaches, sports medicine professionals, and other related personnel on athletes' rehabilitation and injury management;
- Conduct sports medicine-related research and educational programmes for athletes and coaches;
- Assist in training and supervising junior physiotherapists and physiotherapy students;
- Perform any other appropriate duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Skills and Qualifications
- A university degree in physiotherapy or a relevant discipline;
- Registration with the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Board;
- A minimum of 4 years of physiotherapy or sports relevant working experience;
- Experience in managing sports injuries;
- An excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese;
- Awareness/knowledge of Child Protection in sport and equal opportunity issues in the context of Hong Kong.
