The Role

We are looking for a seasoned project manager to lead the delivery of complex legal projects, working closely with our lawyers, clients, and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, preferably gained in a professional services environment, and experience of managing teams and supporting multi-jurisdictional matters.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting the delivery of significant legal projects, including preparing scope, resourcing, and budget proposals, tracking progress, and identifying risks and issues;
  • Working closely with our lawyers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards;
  • Developing and implementing effective project management tools and techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Providing training and support to our lawyers and other staff on project management best practices;
  • Collaborating with our Innovation / Legal Transformation and Technology team to identify opportunities to improve service delivery.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong academic history and formal project management qualification (such as PRINCE2 or PMP) would be desirable;
  • A proven track record of managing complex projects, including those with multiple stakeholders and jurisdictions;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to absorb and explain complex information clearly and concisely;
  • Experience of working in a professional services environment, preferably in a similar role.

Compensation and Benefits

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading law firm and work with a talented team of professionals. We offer a competitive salary range of £65,000-£90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life assurance, and flexible working arrangements.
