Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain network performance across multiple physical sites and cloud environments, ensuring seamless connectivity and minimal downtime.
  • Design and implement network configurations and connections, leveraging industry-leading technologies to optimize network efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and resolve complex problems.
  • Design system configurations and oversee system installations to establish a robust networking environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Define, document, and enforce system standards, ensuring consistency and quality across all network infrastructure.
  • Perform automated infrastructure provisioning, utilizing scripting languages and automation tools to streamline network deployments.
  • Configure routers and firewalls to ensure optimal network security, protecting against cyber threats and ensuring data integrity.
  • Update and maintain servers and network equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Collaborate closely with IT Security Engineers to secure the network system, establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
  • 5+ years of experience in network and infrastructure engineering, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex network infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of various network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Proficiency with network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls, including configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of hypervisors and virtualization technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Experience with infrastructure provisioning automation, including scripting languages and automation tools.
  • Proficiency in Linux and shell scripting, including Bash and Python.
  • Knowledge of blockchain technology is a plus, but not required.
