Job Title: Fixed Network Architect

China Mobile Hong Kong Co. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Fixed Network Architect to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented individual to lead the development and implementation of our fixed network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting development needs from various departments, coordinating with the business and technical support departments to formulate long-term planning, and ensuring the quality of end-to-end broadband networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect development needs from various departments and coordinate with the business and technical support departments to formulate long-term planning.
  • Monitor and assess customer satisfaction with home broadband networks, collaborate with the customer service department to collect customer feedback, identify and resolve issues, and ensure high-quality customer service standards.
  • Ensure the network quality of end-to-end broadband networks, from the household side to the network side, to guarantee the internet experience of broadband users.
  • Construct, maintain, and optimize several IT platforms for the fixed network center, including fiber optic cable resource management, broadband network full lifecycle management, and broadband internet quality monitoring.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical fields, with at least 5 years of experience in fixed network operators or other telecommunications-related industries.
  • Proficient in big data analysis and GIS integration technologies, and capable of using these technologies for fiber optic network planning as well as resource management and optimization.
  • Familiar with API integration and docking, achieving interconnectivity and interoperability among systems across multiple domains.
  • Proficient in the networking and internet access process of broadband networks, with the capability to locate and resolve broadband internet access faults.
  • Deep understanding and extensive practical experience in the operation and maintenance experience of IP/broadband networks, proficient in TCP/IP, GPON/XGS-PON, routing and switching, and network related knowledge.
  • Familiar with various technical methods to monitor the quality of broadband internet access and propose optimization solutions, such as soft probe technology, DPI technology, etc.
  • Excellent cross-departmental communication and coordination skills, able to effectively communicate with technical teams, marketing teams, and customer service teams, continuously improve the quality of broadband internet access, and able to collaborate and advance projects in a cross-departmental environment.
  • Possesses professional knowledge and practical experience in the field of network security.
  • Holds network-related certifications such as CCNP, any IT-related or security certificate is preferred.
