About the Role:
Axiom is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on data protection and compliance matters to our F100 clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-depth guidance on data protection and data privacy laws, including PDPO and GDPR, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and standardize policies, protocols, and training programs to ensure effective data governance and risk management.
- Collaborate with business and product development teams to provide commercially tailored support and guidance on privacy and data-sharing issues.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments and provide recommendations for improvement of privacy policies.
- Maintain and update documentation with the most recent regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with business clients to provide guidance and practical solutions for various corporate policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data protection and compliance, with a strong background in PDPO and GDPR.
- Proven track record of providing expert advice on data protection and compliance matters to F100 clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with business and legal teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Experience working with China privacy matters and laws is a plus.
