This esteemed institution is recognized as a leading English-speaking research university, hosting a diverse international faculty. The Division of Social Science enjoys a prestigious global ranking, and we welcome applications from individuals at all academic levels, including Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor.
Qualifications
Applicants are required to possess a PhD and demonstrate a robust background in applied research across various economics disciplines, such as development, environmental economics, health economics, economic history, industrial organization, labor economics, and public finance. A solid foundation in research methodologies is highly desirable. Successful candidates will be expected to engage in teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary offered is competitive and will be aligned with the candidate's qualifications and experience. Comprehensive fringe benefits will include annual leave, medical and dental coverage, and housing assistance where applicable. Initial appointments at the Associate or Assistant Professor level will typically be on a three-year contract, subject to renewal based on mutual agreement. A gratuity will be awarded upon successful contract completion.
Application Process
Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest, a detailed curriculum vitae, a research statement, a teaching statement, a sample publication, and teaching evaluations electronically. Candidates applying for Associate or Assistant Professor positions must also arrange for three letters of recommendation to be submitted. For tenured roles, references will be requested only after mutual agreement to proceed with the appointment process.
