Job Summary:

The Finance function at ING Bank is responsible for local and head office financial reporting, management reporting, tax reporting, and accounts payable processing. The Accounting Officer will assist in local regulatory and head office financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To review and prepare local regulatory reports before submission to the local regulator HKMA;
  • To support the team during the month-end closing process;
  • To process financial events, including accruals and journals;
  • To prepare weekly vendor payments and staff claim reimbursements;
  • To perform financial key controls, including reconciliations and suspense accounts, surrounding the general ledger.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Accounting or Finance;
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of working experience, preferably with a foreign commercial bank;
  • Knowledge and experience in the preparation of HKMA banking returns;
  • Hands-on attitude.
