Job OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Vendor Renewable Energy Manager to join our Responsible Supply Chain team. This role will focus on driving scope 3 emissions reductions through renewable energy procurement, ensuring vendors meet or exceed industry expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement renewable energy strategies, aligning with Lululemon's Be Planet Impact Agenda climate goals.
- Work closely with vendors to drive scope 3 emissions reductions through renewable energy projects and procurement, promoting industry-leading practices.
- Analyze data and trends in manufacturing renewable energy, identifying opportunities to improve the program and reduce Scope 3 emissions.
- Represent Lululemon in external forums related to renewable energy procurement, programs, and initiatives, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including governments, industry associations, climate NGOs, and activation partners.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or supply chain management.
- 12+ years of experience working directly with supply chain partners on sustainability and climate strategy.
- Min 5 years of experience in driving renewable energy and climate projects, activating renewable energy procurement.
- Working knowledge of setting carbon targets and developing emissions reduction plans.
- Experience working directly with supply chain partners on environmental assessments or production efficiency.
- Understanding of energy use at textile, apparel, footwear, and related manufacturing facilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to communicate complex concepts.
- Fluent in English, with Mandarin preferred.
