Software QA Lead

We are seeking an experienced Software QA Lead to join our innovative team at ConnectedGroup. As a key member of our Quality Engineering Organization, you will be responsible for building out test suites and test cases for functional as well as non-functional tests along with documentation.

Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting across multiple apps and services in a distributed cloud environment, debugging production bugs and errors, and updating the respective regressions to test edge cases. You will also work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and make recommendations on development approaches.

You will have a strong background in automated testing for large-scale applications, with experience working in agile and CI/CD environments. Your expertise in modern TypeScript automation frameworks for web and mobile applications will be essential in driving the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build out test suites and test cases for functional as well as non-functional tests along with documentation.
  • Provide manual release support where features are not yet covered by automation.
  • Work cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and all other stakeholders of the team to understand and make recommendations on the dev approaches to meet their needs.
  • Troubleshooting across multiple apps and services in a distributed cloud environment.
  • Debug production bugs and errors and update the respective regressions to test the edge case.

Key Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
  • Strong experience with modern TypeScript automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.
  • Experience with Playwright is a big plus (experience with Cypress or other frameworks is also beneficial).
  • Experience working in agile and CI/CD environments.
  • Must have automation testing experience.
