Associate Director, Business Risk Management

We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive the implementation of our risk governance framework. As an Associate Director, Business Risk Management, you will be responsible for ensuring that our business partners adhere to our internal policy and external regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of operational risk management, control and governance, risk and control self-assessment, incident management, and key risk indicators. In addition, they will have knowledge of regulatory requirements including code of banking practice, deposit protection scheme, risk management of e-banking, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement the bank's risk governance framework across respective business teams
  • Facilitate the business teams to understand and comply with internal policy and external regulatory requirements

Key Stakeholders:

  1. 1st Line of Defence: WRB Business / Fraud Risk Management / CI
  2. 2nd Line of Defence: Compliance / Legal / CFCC / OR / ICS
  3. 3rd Line of Defence: GIA

Qualification:

  • Degree holder with solid experience in retail banking, risk management, fraud risk management, and internal/external audit
  • Solid knowledge of operational risk management, control and governance, risk and control self-assessment, incident management, and key risk indicators
  • Proficiencies and knowledge in regulatory requirements including code of banking practice, deposit protection scheme, risk management of e-banking, etc.
