Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Scientific Conditioning Coach to join our Scientific Conditioning Center team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of our athletes and contributing to the success of our sports programs.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing safe and effective training programs for athletes;
  • Providing technical coaching and guidance to athletes and coaches;
  • Collaborating with other disciplines to develop comprehensive support plans for athletes;
  • Monitoring and evaluating athlete progress and adjusting training programs accordingly;
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends in Strength and Conditioning for peak performance;

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A university degree or diploma in strength and conditioning, sports science, or a related field;
  • Valid strength and conditioning specialist certification or equivalent qualification;
  • First aid, CPR, and AED certification;
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in strength and conditioning, or equivalent experience as an athlete within a high-performance system;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work irregular hours and perform under pressure;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office;
  • Fluent spoken and written English, with the ability to speak Putonghua and/or Chinese advantageous;
  • Awareness of Child Protection in sport and equal opportunity issues in the context of Hong Kong an added advantage;
