Business Analyst/Project Management Officer Role

An Investment Bank is looking for an experienced Business Analyst/Project Management Officer to join its team.

Job Duties

  1. Propose IT solutions or process improvements that align with the company's architectural direction and IT committee guidelines.
  2. Identify business change needs, assess their impact, and document requirements for successful project implementation.
  3. Cultivate effective collaboration and communication among stakeholders to deliver project requirements efficiently.
  4. Promote seamless collaboration between business and IT development teams.
  5. Contribute to development by providing detailed inputs and ensuring final delivery meets expectations.
  6. Evaluate the alignment of IT solutions with firm-wide front-to-back facilities, architectural principles, and long-term benefits.
  7. Design and implement system workflows, processes, and structures that meet well-defined objectives and business needs.
  8. Support project managers with project management, issue tracking, documentation, and service delivery.
  9. Participate in system testing and delivery.

Required Experience and Skills

  1. Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  2. At least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, including requirement gathering and UAT.
  3. Minimum 6 years of experience in Investment Banking IT, specifically in Cash Equities, Futures & Options, and Fixed Income.
  4. Thorough knowledge of OMS, Exchange Connectivity, FIX Connectivity, Electronic Trading, and Front to Back Office Flow.
  5. Experience with Sophis or Global Commodity business is advantageous.
  6. Highly valued technical expertise.
  7. Proficient in both spoken and written Chinese & English, with fluency in Putonghua.
