Research Team Member Position

We invite applications for a Research Team Member position at Centre for Oncology and Immunology, where you will contribute to cutting-edge research in cancer biomarkers and drug development.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with a talented team of scientists on a variety of projects, including the discovery of cancer biomarkers using large scale multi-omics approach, organoid technology, and novel animal models, as well as anti-cancer or immuno-oncology drug development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in designing and conducting experiments in the lab to test hypotheses.
  • Help collect, analyze, and interpret data to draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cancer research and apply this knowledge to improve our research outcomes.
Required Qualifications and Skills

We seek applicants with a strong research background in Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering, and Biological Science, preferably in Cancer Biology, Immunology, Immuno-oncology, Molecular Biology, Genomic, Proteomic, Metabolomic, Bioinformatics Studies, Single Cell Technology, or Medicinal Chemistry.

  • Possess a demonstrated track record of publishing academic research papers.
  • Be experienced in CRISPR/Cas9 technology and high-throughput screening techniques.
  • Have a specialized research interest in haematology and haematological oncology.
  • Be experienced in molecular biology laboratory techniques and handling mammalian cell culture.
  • Have a specialized research interest in Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML), Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL), pathogenesis, transcriptomes screening, T-cell-based immunotherapies (CAR-T) and single cell technology.
  • Be experienced in in-vitro drug platforms and/or microfluidics platforms.
  • Be experienced in mouse models, organoid models, and zebrafish models.
