The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology is seeking highly qualified candidates to fill research staff positions in the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Displays and Optoelectronics Technologies (SKL of ADT).
The appointees will work with senior technical officers and other staff to provide assistance in the maintenance and operation of research facilities, and the execution of research projects. Some appointees will be assigned to assist in routine micro-fabrication processes related to high-resolution OLED displays and be responsible for the daily maintenance of an OLED research facility within SKL of ADT.
Requirements:
- For posts (A), applicants should have a master's degree in electronics, physics, materials, or a related field. Familiarity with semiconductor, microelectronics, or clean room procedures is preferred but not mandatory.
- For posts (B), applicants should have a bachelor's or master's degree in physics, materials, or a science-related field. Experience in optics and liquid crystal research is an advantage.
- For posts (C), applicants should have a PhD degree for Research Associate positions. For Research Assistant positions, applicants should have a master's degree or above in physics, chemistry, materials, electronic engineering, or a related field. The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in semiconductor fabrication and be familiar with micro-fabrication techniques, such as photolithography, CVD, etc. Experience in cleanroom operation is highly preferred and knowledge in OLED technology and vacuum equipment will be an advantage.
