Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Asia Pacific Payroll Services team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing payroll operations in selected markets, developing regional payroll strategy, and cultivating a collaborative and growth-oriented mindset in the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Operations Management: Supervise internal Payroll Managers, ensure set deliverables from payroll vendors, and maintain market compliance, corporate guidelines, controls, and standards.
  • Regional Payroll Strategy: Develop and implement a regional payroll strategy across the Asia Pacific, working closely with stakeholders from human resources, finance, legal, and business.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Manage vendor relationships to enable efficient resolution of complex payroll queries.
  • Team Leadership: Cultivate a collaborative, growth, and risk management mindset in the team.
Requirements
  • Degree holder with proven experience leading large-scale payroll functions across several markets.
  • Strong service mindset and leadership competency towards internal and external parties.
  • Able to drive change and improvement effectively.
  • Fluent in English; Chinese language is highly preferred.
  • Manage the end-to-end employee journey operation with the support of internal HR COE and SSC teams.
  • Handle daily staff issues and enquiries, provide professional HR advice, and champion quality people support and employee well-being.
  • Handle end-to-end Talent Acquisition process and organize recruitment-related activities up to Manager level.
  • Work with Shared Service Center on supporting the employee lifecycle including all C&B operations and on/off boarding.
  • Maintain employee relations and support HRD on advisory to employees.
  • Support the initiation, planning, and implementation of HR process and procedures digitalization.
  • Be the subject matter expert in the HR team and work closely with IT Department and vendors on project timelines and budgets, as well as testing and system migration processes.
  • Engage and support users of the system to ensure smooth deployment and maximize usage.
  • Support the HRM in setting up and driving learning and development programs for the organization.
  • Collaborate with both business leaders and external consultants to identify training needs and provide meaningful learning solutions.
  • Write up proposals, policies, and communication materials to initiate and implement smoothly different training and internship programs in the organization.
