What's the Role?

You will negotiate complex deals, be part of a Global Department delivering top-notch service and advice. Our dynamic Procurement Department seeks an experienced Sourcing Manager to join its Asia Pacific team. You will build relationships with internal clients and vendors who support our diverse requirements across the Asia Pacific region.

You will need to demonstrate knowledge of procurement principles, strong negotiating skills, and attention to detail. As part of the Asia Pacific team, you will develop and execute supply strategies for multiple categories, focusing on Professional Services, Marketing, Advertising & News, Media, Travel, and Bloomberg On-Site Services.

You will manage your own supply base, ensuring stakeholders receive what they need when they need it at the best value possible.

We'll Trust You To:

  • Determine specifications and requirements for products and services through communication with internal stakeholders and the department's strategic plan
  • Lead sourcing opportunities, including RFPs, direct negotiations, etc., and utilize market research from internal and external sources to drive sourcing decisions
  • Ensure adherence to policies and thresholds set by the Chief Procurement Officer
  • Negotiate and implement contractual agreements in partnership with the internal customer and our Legal department
  • Manage the vendor base to ensure contractual compliance and financial efficiency
  • Continuously review strategic plans with the Sourcing Team to better serve the company as a whole
  • Build lasting relationships with internal clients and the associated vendor base
  • Provide support to the team to ensure first-class customer service
