Job Description

We are seeking a high-caliber professional to join our Fraud Operations team as Officer, Fraud Ops Intermediate Analyst - Hybrid. In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional analytical expertise relating to fraud prevention and loss control.

Your key responsibilities will include analyzing fraud trends, conducting investigative research into losses, and analyzing loss type data to determine the nature of fraud patterns. You will also perform complex data validation independently and make recommendations to portfolio managers based on data availability and analysis.

Additionally, you will resolve varied fraud issues with potentially greater impact, and provide guidance and input to teams to aid process improvement efforts. You will integrate in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices.

You will also provide informal guidance or on-the-job training to new team members as needed. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the quality and timeliness of services provided, to support your team and closely related teams.

In terms of risk assessment, you will appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets.

This position is expected to handle and reduce deception fraud. Related works include fraud awareness campaign, prevention, fraud strategy execution, MIS tracking, policy update, regulatory reporting, management update.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in a related role
  • Fluent and efficient communication with Client / Supervisor in spoken and written English
  • Possess rich experience in fraud cases relating to retail banking / credit card / personal loan / mortgage loan
  • Possess experience in identifying money mule accounts
  • Proficient in software such as MS Excel, MS PowerPoint & MS Word
  • Able to communicate in spoken Mandarin & Cantonese
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
