Key Responsibilities

  1. Access Control: Manage and control access to the campus, ensuring that individuals and activities adhere to district policies and procedures.
  2. Campus Patrols: Conduct regular patrols and inspections across the campus to identify potential security risks and prevent incidents.
  3. Incident Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed incident reports, inform violators of rule infractions, and collaborate with administration and student resource officers to address concerns.
  4. Community Engagement: Develop positive relationships with stakeholders, including students, staff, and parents, to foster a safe and inclusive environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid NYS Security Guard License, and a valid NYS Driver's License. Additionally, they should have at least one year of experience working as a campus patrol, security officer, or equivalent, demonstrating an ability to de-escalate situations and respond appropriately to emergencies.
