Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Linux Systems Manager to join our team at Global Executive Consultants Ltd. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing effective and efficient computer systems for application development and production.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain and support large-scale computing environments, including hardware installation, software evaluation, planning, and implementation.
  2. Perform system monitoring and tuning to ensure optimal performance and security baseline compliance.
  3. Collaborate with application development teams, operations staff, and IT management to provide technical support and advice.
  4. Assist in streamlining operation procedures and providing regular or ad-hoc support during office hours.

Requirements

  • University graduate in computer science or relevant field.
  • 3-5 years' experience in OS administration (AIX, Solaris, and RedHat Linux).
  • Familiarity with middleware products, SAN Storage, Backup tools, Network, Citrix, Windows, VMWare, and RedHat Virtualization.
  • Solid experience supporting middle to large-scale project implementations.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
