About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to join our Healthcare team in the APAC region. As a key member of our Investment Research Group, you will be responsible for researching healthcare companies in the APAC region, identifying trends, and providing insights to support our investment decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research on healthcare companies in Emerging Markets Asia
  • Stay up-to-date on macro and government policy developments in the region
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models to analyze investments
  • Attend company meetings, industry conferences, and other relevant events
  • Complete complex analytical projects under tight deadlines
  • Maintain the integrity of our industry and comparative valuation models
  • Contribute to written research reports
  • Make investment recommendations to our global investment teams

Qualifications

We are looking for a self-motivated and analytical individual with a passion for the Healthcare sector and investing in APAC markets. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong academic record and an undergraduate degree
  • At least 1 year of investment research experience, preferably in the Healthcare industry
  • Excellent financial modeling skills
  • Strong judgment, a strong work ethic, and the highest personal and professional integrity
  • A disciplined approach to research and a strong bottom-up fundamental approach
  • Demonstrated analytical ability and self-awareness
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate with experienced investment teams
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in uncertain situations
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • CFA or progress towards completion of the CFA
  • Fluency in English required, fluency in an Asian language advantageous
