Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join our team at China CITIC Bank International Limited.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the production of consolidated financial statements for the Group; apply applicable accounting standards and disclosure requirements in preparation of the statements.
  • Handle Annual Account Closing including generating annual reports and press announcements.
  • Participate in preparing tax computation and tax planning.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policy & manual for adoption by the group.
  • Ensure new banking products are properly accounted for in annual account disclosure.
  • Provide support on financial management function to PRC subsidiary/branches; monitor and prepare regulatory reports to US branches e.g. FRY reports. As coordinator for parent bank issues.
  • Responsible for monthly/quarterly financial reports required by holding companies and CITIC Group; maintain the infrastructure and provision of reports for parent bank's Group Reporting Pack in PRC GAAP.
  • Analyze the requirements from CNCB on consolidated supervision aspects and undertake necessary responsive actions; maintain guidelines, manuals or procedures in connection to CNCB's consolidated supervision.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to subordinates as required to ensure that they are competent to perform the jobs.
  • Perform ad hoc projects and assignments as required.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Accounting or related disciplines or a qualified accountant.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in management and financial accounting in the banking industry.
  • Strong analytical skill and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, bank's accounting policies & procedures.
  • Good communication skills and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Good computer skills; Proficiency in MS Office e.g. Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
