Job Title: Research Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Associate to join our team at the Department of Anatomical and Cellular Pathology. The successful candidate will have a strong background in bioinformatics, computer science, statistics, biomedical engineering, software engineering, life sciences, or medical sciences, and will be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research under supervision and contribute to the development of new research projects.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve research goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in image processing, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field and apply this knowledge to research projects.
  • Prepare and submit research papers, reports, and presentations as required.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, plus at least four years' post-qualification experience in the related field.
  • Strong knowledge of image processing, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch is a significant advantage.
