Expert Life Insurance Support Specialist

Our client, a leading insurance company with an excellent team culture and stability, seeks an experienced professional with in-depth knowledge of Life Insurance systems and production support.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end incident and problem management for L&H business, particularly issues related to L&H applications and auxiliary systems.
  • Assist with technical investigations and impact analysis, acting swiftly and performing troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate activity between business functions and off-shore teams to drive open action items to closure, prioritizing based on severity, impact, and urgency of the incident.
  • Generate, control, and resolve incident tickets related to application failure, abnormal behavior, production batch, and file transmission, maintaining an inventory of incident logs for transparency and traceability.
  • Communicate to business and technical partners on incidents as they occur when they impact business process, system performance, or availability, escalating critical issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with digital/infra teams, offshore development centers (Philippines and India), and external vendors to investigate functional and system errors.
  • Conduct regular health checks of applications and implement continuous improvements for Life and Health systems.
  • Lead walkthrough sessions with key stakeholders in weekly and monthly production meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in waterfall and/or Agile development practices.
  • Familiarity with various IT platforms, particularly Life and Health administrative platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in integrating and recommending complex IT solutions.
  • Able to work across countries, regions, and time zones with diverse cultures and technical capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills, articulating issues clearly to business stakeholders.
  • Excellent English language proficiency, both written and spoken.

Salary: Estimated $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
