Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Rates Sales team within Marex Spectron's fast-paced and growing Capital Markets group. As part of this newly formed team, you will be a key member playing a crucial role in driving growth and profitability for the Multi-product Sales and Execution Desk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and execute Rates products to meet client demands.
  • Assist management in managing risks associated with Rates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including banks, hedge funds, market makers, and fund managers.
  • Support the onboarding process for new client relationships and maintain existing ones.
  • Work efficiently to enhance processes and prepare new frameworks as required.
  • Collaborate with central operations functions, including Operations and Technology.
  • Analyze markets and products to increase profit and loss (P&L).
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements under the relevant regulatory body.
  • Adhere to operational risk frameworks and company parameters.
  • Demonstrate highest standards of integrity and conduct, reflecting Company Values.
  • Comply with internal policies and report any breaches to Compliance or supervisors as necessary.
  • Evaluate and escalate risk events promptly.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end trade life cycles.
  • Fundamental knowledge of bond mathematics.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Rates.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of risk and compliance requirements.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000-$120,000 based on industry standards and location.
