About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Lawyer to join our team in Hong Kong. As a Compliance Lawyer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our firm's policies and procedures on core compliance issues such as anti-money laundering, sanctions, conflicts, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures on anti-money laundering, sanctions, conflicts, and confidentiality
  • Work with the COO to develop commercial contracts with key suppliers
  • Advise on data protection and employment matters
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Compliance experience preferred, but lawyers looking to transition into this area will be considered
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese essential
  • Experience with SRA regulations, data protection, employment, and litigation an advantage
