Job Title: Software Solutions Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Solutions Developer to join our team at Classy Wheeler Limited. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and maintaining Android TV applications, as well as developing software platforms to support new technologies and hardware platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Application Development: Develop and maintain high-quality Android TV applications using native Android SDKs.
  • Customization: Customize applications for integration with the Android system.
  • Optimization: Optimize video playback on Android TV Applications for seamless user experience.
  • User Experience Improvement: Continuously improve user experience and performance of Android TV Applications.
  • Platform Development: Develop software platforms to support new technologies and hardware platforms.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the software development team to produce bespoke software solutions to customer requirements.
  • Maintenance: Maintain current and future corporate software.

Requirements:

  • Education: University degree or Associate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Programming Skills: Proficient in C and C++ programming languages.
  • Experience: Experience in Linux embedded system programming is required.
  • Additional Skills: Knowledge of Bash shell script, Operating Systems concepts, GNU Make, Video codec, and streaming technologies is a plus.
  • Cryptography and Content Protection: Knowledge of cryptography and content protection technologies is a plus.
  • Agile Development: Agile software development paradigm is expected.
  • Communication: Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are essential.
  • Soft Skills: Approachable, confident, proactive, self-starter, able to cope with a varied and busy workload, and a good team player.

Compensation: The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
