At Prudential Hong Kong Limited, we seek a seasoned professional to lead our affluent and High Net Worth (HNW)/ Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) customers' wealth proposition development. As the Wealth Proposition Director, you will spearhead the creation of a differentiated wealth proposition encompassing wealth accumulation, protection, and transfer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Wealth Strategy Formulation: Develop a comprehensive wealth strategy, establishing a dedicated wealth team to execute the strategy in core markets, focusing on targeted segments including Affluent, HNW, and UHNW.
  • Wealth Proposition Development: Create a compelling wealth proposition and capabilities to drive growth in affluent, HNW, and UHNW segments, resulting in incremental revenue for Prudential.
    • Establish a robust Bermuda business model.
    • Ensure competitiveness of HNW products through innovation.
    • BUILD a tailored distribution strategy targeting HNW clients, including private banks and International Brokers.
    • Capture offshore needs by leveraging Asia-wide networks.
    • Implement an HNW servicing model with underwriting capabilities and case management.
    • Create value-added services to enhance the value proposition, such as premium financing partnerships and trusts.
    • Collaborate with Eastspring Asset Management to capitalize opportunities.
    • Establish measurement and KPIs to monitor wealth business growth.
  • Commercial Value Maximization: Grow market share of HNW & affluent segments and acquire new-to-Prudential wealth customers or upsell from the affluent customer base.
  • Thought Leadership: Identify white spaces and innovate our wealth proposition.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders, including Distribution leads, Operations & Technology, Product heads, to drive business outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Financial Institutions.
  • Proven track record in managing global/ regional businesses.
  • Strong business acumen with extensive experience in managing Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
  • Significant experience in insurance distribution/product management.
  • Prior knowledge of the HNW business sector is preferred.
