About the Centre for Cerebro-cardiovascular Health Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Engineer to join our team in the field of photoacoustic imaging. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building imaging systems from scratch, as well as designing experiments from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop innovative imaging systems and experiments
  • Collaborate with our research team to advance the field of photoacoustic imaging
  • Conduct research and development to improve imaging systems and techniques
  • Communicate research findings and results to the team and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Master's or above degree in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Good organizational and analytical abilities
  • Mature, responsible, and hardworking with the ability to work independently and as a team
  • High-quality publications or related experimental or modeling experience is advantageous

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with photoacoustic fiber probe design and fabrication, photoacoustic imager design, tomographic image reconstruction, fiber-optics and imaging, ultrafast laser technique, laser spectroscopy, and optoelectronics
