Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the complete cloud infrastructure, encompassing virtual machines, containers, databases, and storage across Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) environments.
  • Manage project or maintenance contractors, ensuring the provision of quality services and the maintenance of work practice standards.
  • Provide support in formulating IT infrastructure planning, policies, standards, and baselines while strictly following industry-standard technical and security guidelines, prioritizing performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with a team of accomplished experts, actively sharing knowledge and ideas to foster innovation and drive the advancement of cloud technology for successful outcomes.
  • Handle the management of IT procurement documents, including preparing approval paperwork and specifying requirements.
  • Take proactive measures to manage the service, hardware, and software inventory, ensuring timely identification and resolution of end-of-life or end-of-support issues.
Requirements:
  • Possess a recognised degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant discipline; or equivalent.
  • Possess either Azure Administrator Associate certification or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate certification is required.
  • Have at least 5 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
  • Have a proven track record of administering and supporting both AWS and Azure cloud platforms is a must.
  • Have hands-on experience in designing, and implementing cutting-edge cloud-based ICT infrastructure solutions for sizeable corporate environments.
  • Have solid cloud project accomplishments like landing zone and migration between on-premise to cloud or cloud to cloud is an advantage.
  • Have infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience is an advantage.
  • Have strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
  • Be proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese.
