About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Associate Director to join our team in Hong Kong or Singapore. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and incremental revenue across Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business growth strategy for Wasserman Asia, aligned with the company's global objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders at key partners and rights holders, driving strategic partnerships and revenue growth.
  • Lead the development and presentation of client pitch proposals, working closely with experts from across the Wasserman business.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for increased profitability and growth across client work and areas for expansion.
  • Collaborate with the Wasserman Rights team to capitalize on mutual benefits and drive regional growth.
  • Ensure project timelines are met, accurate budget and project reporting, and oversee KPI setting and campaign evaluation.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in the global sports and entertainment industry, preferably with a background in business development and client management.
  • Excellent client management skills, with the ability to manage senior clients and build trust with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in growing business, revenue, and growth for a single client or portfolio of clients.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to empower, delegate, and inspire a team.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to write and deliver compelling presentations.
  • Deep knowledge of the sports and entertainment landscape, with a passion for staying up-to-date on industry trends.
