Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Battery Research and Development Expert to join our team at Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited. As a key member of our research department, you will be responsible for conducting hands-on laboratory scale polymerizations, setting up and conducting experiments, and performing relevant application and analytical testing.

The ideal candidate will have a Master of Science degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong background in battery research and development. Experience in commercial product development in the battery industry is also highly desirable.

In this role, you will work closely with project team members and key partners to ensure favorable R&D project outcomes and product launches. You will also be responsible for coaching technician and lab support colleagues, as well as conducting travel (up to 20%) for the purposes of gathering customer needs and performing experimental trials.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience in battery research and development
  • Deep understanding of electrochemistry, battery materials, and energy storage systems
  • Ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in commercial product development in the battery industry
