Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Trade Processing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our trade support group, you will be responsible for end-to-end processing of equity trades, including booking, matching, reconciliation, and settlement. Your duties will include:
  • Supporting the processing of private banking and consumer banking segment trades
  • Ensuring accurate and timely trade settlement, asset transfer, and mark-to-market pricing review
  • Producing daily, monthly, and annual regulatory reports, reconciliations, and Commission/Fee Billing reports
  • Maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in line with new policies and risk management activities
  • Providing input on change initiatives, advising on potential impact on current processes, and driving change management to increase automation and controls
  • Participating in system enhancements and process improvement projects

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A Diploma or University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience within the Banking and Finance industry
  • Knowledge and experience in trade support and transaction processing
  • Well-versed in operating Omgeo CTM terminal, Bloomberg, and Order Management Systems
  • Knowledge in share placement and IPO processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive approach to identifying opportunities to streamline and automate processes
  • A strong understanding of control environments and minimizing operational risk
  • Ability to improve processes, coordinate multiple tasks, and work effectively in a team
