Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team at Bank Of China (Hong Kong) Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data for daily compliance monitoring, designing and preparing regular market risk internal control or monitoring reports, and carrying out real-time risk monitoring on ASEAN entities.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze data for daily compliance monitoring to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Design and prepare regular market risk internal control or monitoring reports to identify potential risks and areas for improvement
  • Carry out real-time risk monitoring on ASEAN entities to mitigate potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Draft internal self-assessment and gap analysis reports on internal control measures and mechanisms
  • Develop and maintain internal control manuals and guidelines
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, monitor progress, and implement corrective measures as suggested by the bank
  • Assist in rolling out internal control measures, including drafting management guidelines and conducting sample checks
  • Provide control-related support to front-line trading teams, including those in ASEAN entities

Requirements:

  • Degree holder or above
  • At least 5 years' relevant experience in the banking industry
  • Knowledge of global financial markets and treasury development is an added advantage
  • Strong analytical capability, self-motivation, and independence
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English; fluent Mandarin is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with PC software, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Chinese word processing
