About the Role

We are seeking a Sustainable Product Expert to join our team and drive our sustainable product programs forward. As a key member of our Sustainable Product and Packaging team, you will be responsible for operationalizing sustainable product programs and ensuring we can verify the preferred materials that go into our products.

A Day in the Life:

  • Support Program Maintenance: You will work closely with supply chain partners to provide training and respond to queries related to lululemon's sustainable product programs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including certification bodies and sustainability program owners.
  • Process Development: You will contribute to internal implementation of new sustainable product programs (research, resource development, audits, etc.).
  • Training and Education: You will develop and educate teams on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within the Sustainable Product Program team.
  • Knowledge Sharing: You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and facilitate knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Insight Generation: You will provide insights to improve existing systems and processes for key initiatives.
  • Industry Monitoring: You will monitor industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Sustainable Product Experience: 2+ years' experience with sustainable product programs in the textile and apparel industry.
  • Supply Chain Knowledge: 2+ years' experience working with textile/apparel supply chain partners.
  • Sustainability Understanding: Understanding of sustainability initiatives and a passion for responsible transformation.
  • Industry Awareness: Knowledge of the apparel, footwear, sportswear industry and global operations.
  • Process Development Skills: Experience in process development and maintenance of tools and resources.
  • Data Collection and Management: Experience with product data collection and management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
