At Malherbe Paris, our independent creative agency at the crossroads of art and commerce, we are a global leader in retail design and digital creation. We work with major international brands on design and retail strategy, combining a creative approach based on elegance, innovation, and freedom of expression.

We are looking for a Business Developer to join our retail design business unit and collaborate with our Creative Director in the growth of our business. You will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of clients and for expanding it through your network and prospective work.

You will join a small creative team and play a key part in building the business and supporting the growth of the agency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a portfolio of prospects and clients: Identify and build relationships with potential clients, develop a growth strategy focused on business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company: Act as an ambassador and represent the agency in all prospective settings, participate in sector-related events and public relations, lead agency presentations to present case studies and the expertise of the team.
  • Achieve sales targets: Track, identify, and add qualified prospects to the pipeline, negotiate contracts terms in terms of costs, quality, and deadlines, write quotes and proposals.
  • Reporting: Regularly report your progress to the Creative Director and commercial team, monitoring, briefing, and debriefing of ongoing projects.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in business, marketing, or related field: A degree in a relevant field is required.
  • 5 years in a similar role: Experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Experience in architecture, interior design, or a creative field: Experience in a creative field is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability in business-to-business (B2B) sales: Proven sales experience in a B2B setting is required.
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills: Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Strong presentation skills: Ability to present the agency and business effectively.
  • Skilled negotiator: Ability to negotiate contracts and terms.
  • Fluent in English: Fluency in English is required, another language is an asset.
