- Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Investigate and resolve production issues in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and impact on trading operations.
- Collaborate with Development Teams: Work with development teams to identify and implement solutions for recurring issues, ensuring seamless integration with our trading platforms.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis: Analyze incidents to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Develop Operational Documentation: Create and maintain operational documentation, including runbooks and incident reports, to ensure knowledge sharing and process improvement.
- Assist in Deployment and Release Management: Support the deployment and release management processes for our trading applications, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to trading operations.
- Participate in On-Call Rotation: Join our on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical trading infrastructure, ensuring prompt response to incidents and minimizing downtime.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- 3+ Years of Experience in Production Support: A minimum of 3 years of experience in production support, preferably in a financial services or trading environment, is required.
- Strong Understanding of Systematic Trading Concepts: A strong understanding of systematic trading concepts and market operations is essential.
- Proficient in Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python or Bash, for automation and monitoring purposes is required.
- Familiarity with Trading Systems and Order Management Systems: Familiarity with trading systems, order management systems, and execution platforms is essential.
- Experience with Incident Management Tools and Monitoring Solutions: Experience with incident management tools and monitoring solutions, such as Nagios or Grafana, is required.
- Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail, are essential.
- Knowledge of Cloud Technologies and DevOps Practices: Knowledge of cloud technologies and DevOps practices is highly desirable.
