As a C# Engineer on our Account Technology team, you will be responsible for playing a key role in designing, testing, deploying, and maintaining the firm’s critical back office systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting‑edge .NET technologies, focusing on distributed systems, high-volume processing, and AWS serverless technologies. WHAT YOU'LL DO Innovate and Enhance: Design and improve multithreaded, 3-tier back-office systems. Decision Making: Make independent decisions while effectively mitigating risks. Ownership Mentality: Take full ownership of all aspects of our trade accounting systems. Fast-Paced Environment: Thrive in a fast-paced setting, balancing second-line support with strategic development responsibilities. Global Collaboration: Work closely with engineers in the UK, US, and Warsaw to deliver robust solutions. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Experience: 5+ years of hands‑on experience in a formal enterprise-level development environment, particularly with C#. Technical Skills: Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, multi-threaded programming, and object-oriented design. Proven experience in building connected, service-oriented applications. Familiarity with enterprise messaging systems. Experience with Database Systems (Microsoft SQL preferred) Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, etc) Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly to various audiences. DevOps Knowledge: Experience with JIRA, Git, Jenkins, and Octopus Deploy. KEY ATTRIBUTES WE ARE LOOKING FOR Agile Development: Familiarity with Agile software development concepts. Test-Driven Development: Experience with behavior and test-driven development. Financial Markets: Familiarity with different product types across Equity, Fixed Income, and Commodity markets.
