Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Performance Marketing Manager with fluency in Japanese to join our dynamic team in Hong Kong. This role will focus on driving customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth through data-driven performance marketing strategies across digital channels. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in paid media, analytics, and campaign optimisation, with the ability to localise strategies for Japanese-speaking markets while collaborating with regional teams. Key Responsibilities Campaign Management:Plan, execute, and optimise performance marketing campaigns across paid search (SEM), paid social, display, programmatic, and affiliate channels. Manage budgets effectively to maximise ROI and achieve KPIs for acquisition and conversion. Market Localisation:Develop and adapt marketing strategies for Japanese-speaking markets, ensuring cultural relevance and compliance with local regulations. Create localized ad copy and collaborate with creative teams for market-specific assets. Analytics & Reporting:Monitor campaign performance using analytics tools (Google Analytics, GA4, etc.) and provide actionable insights. Prepare regular reports on key metrics, trends, and recommendations for continuous improvement. Collaboration:Work closely with regional marketing, e-commerce, and product teams to align performance marketing efforts with overall business objectives. Liaise with external agencies and vendors for campaign execution and optimization. Innovation & Growth:Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in performance marketing. Test new channels, tools, and strategies to enhance acquisition and retention. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. Fluency in Japanese and English (written and spoken) is essential. JLPT N1 or N2 certification required. 6+ years of experience in performance marketing, preferably in e-commerce, digital, or consumer brands. Strong knowledge of paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok, LINE, etc.) and analytics tools. Proven track record of managing budgets and delivering measurable results. Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualisation tools. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. Preferred Skills Experience with Japanese market consumer behaviour and digital platforms. Familiarity with SEO, CRM, and marketing automation tools.
